Butterfield Wines

David Butterfield came to Burgundy by way of Butterfield & Robinson (his family’s travel business). After falling in love with the place (and one of the locals) he joined a work/study program in viticulture and oenology at the local wine school (CFPPA) in Beaune. He was granted a “Brevet Professionnel” from the Ministry of Agriculture of France upon graduation in 2003. Between 2001 and 2004, he worked with several prominent producers in Burgundy and New Zealand before starting his own operation in 2005. Today, Butterfield Wine exists as a small stand-alone winery in Monthelie (adjacent to Meursault), where it sources small parcels of quality grapes from around Beaune and Meursault.

Dr. T. Huw Morris was an anaesthesiologist in Bermuda for 27 years. As President of the Bermuda Wine Circle for 23 years, Huw has had a reputation among wine connoisseurs for being a true wine aficionado. In his retirement, Huw enjoys pairing our wines with home cooked food for family and friends.

Gubinelli

Owned and operated by Bermudian resident Laurence Noble. The Gubinelli vineyard is located on the outskirts of Vista Flores, Department of Tunuyan in the Valle De Uco, one of Mendoza's premier wine regions. The vineyard is at 950 meters above sea level and has a microclimate that allows us to grow world class grapes which are sought after by some of the leading wineries in the region and which are also the only grapes they use in their wines.

"This is our signature Malbec which is produced from the grapes selected from the best sections of our vineyard to ensure the highest quality possible. The result is an extremely smooth wine with a great fruity taste and high alcohol content."
