Beati Fumo di Nonino

“Le Blanche described the drink as reminiscent of trips to the Isle of Skye.”

The "Beati Fumo di Nonino" cocktail was created by the mixologist Jeremy Le Blanche, a blend of Amaro Nonino, Islay Scotch, lemon juice, and honey syrup, and first shared on cocktailhourmeets.com in July 2020. The name, which translates to "Blessed Smoke of Nonino," reflects the smoky notes from the Scotch and the herbal character of the Nonino amaro. 

Tequila + Sangrita

A popular recipe in Guadalajara, Jalisco's largest city, it is speculated to have originated from the leftover juices (mainly orange). The remaining juice was saved and poured on a small and narrow clay cup, which itself would be the precursor of the tequila shot glass. Traditionally, tequila and sangrita are each poured into a separate shot glass (or caballito) and the two are alternately sipped, not chased.
